Short skirt, long bustle

The double layer bustle on this skirt is the same length as on the long bustle skirt, but this skirt is mid-thigh, with either a 13 inch or a 15 inch zip. Not only does the long bustle 'swish' beautifully as the wearer walks, but it also protects certain areas from being exposed when bending over (unless, of course, the wearer chooses to lift the bustle to one side!)

Eleven sizes as standard

The D ring detail on the back of this skirt draws the eye to a narrow section of the garment, making it popular with wearers of all shapes and sizes.

Each of the 36 D rings are sewn on using a small and, therefore, strong stitch. All edges of the skirt and bustle are finished with a four thread overlocker, and the side seams are top stitched for added security. The centre back seam is also top stitched, and there is a small split at the back of the skirt for ease of movement. The bottom hem of the skirt is top stitched and the webbing belt on the top edge of the skirt has a side release buckle fastening (although, if you wish to have this skirt to wear specifically with a corset, and want a flatter fastening that will sit without any bulges under the corset, this can be arranged for you).

The zip on this skirt opens from the bottom up so the skirt can be peeled away slowly and seductively...

Choice of bustle combinations

If you wish to add a splash of colour, or co-ordinate with a jacket, shoes, handbag or other accessories, the short bustle skirt is available with a choice of different coloured satin underbustles (the top layer bustle will be pinstripe, to match the skirt).
