Victoriana cropped jacket with D ring detail

This cropped jacket, with its D ring detail on the cuffs and collar, goes perfectly with either the long or the short bustle skirt.

As with all Jed Phoenix of London garments, this jacket is constructed with both strength and style in mind. The inverse darts taper the jacket towards the waist, and the plunging shawl-style collar frames the upper chest and neck, flattering the figure.

The centre back and side seams are all flat fell, the armhole is sewn with both an industrial flat bed and a four thread overlocker, and the bottom edge of the jacket is bound with bias binding.

The tape of the metal zip at centre front is inserted between the layers of the jacket body and the collar lapel.

Choice of collar and cuff fabric

From March 2008, Jed Phoenix of London is offering a much wider choice of collar and cuff colours, since the matt black PVC fabric has been discontinued. Victoriana jackets can now be made either with pinstripe collars and cuffs, or with either red, blue, purple, black, silver or green satin collars and cuffs. So there's even more scope for adding a splash of colour and co-ordinating with shoes, handbags, or other accessories.
