Pre-made knot
The knot of the Urban Squire tie is pre-made, stuffed with loose threads from all the garments we make, thus giving the tie an eco-friendly edge. The tie fastens around the neck by means of a length of webbing, which is adjustable with the aid of double dee rings. This length of webbing is attached to the underside of the knot of the tie with a couple of buttons and buttonhole elastic. This makes the tie easy to put on and take off.
Detachable trigger hook and choice of colours
At the bottom of the tie, there is a trigger hook that can either be used for whatever your imagination comes up with, or it can be removed. The tie is available in a wide range of colours, a choice of both top fabric and lining fabric, to match or compliment your outfit.
Couture, with metal logo detail
According to the tutor on a Couture Tailoring Course at the London College of Fashion, couture is 80% hand sewn. The Urban Squire tie is therefore couture! It also features the Jed Phoenix of London metal logo, which is sewn on just below the knot.
