Having met Jed at the Infest festival, falling in love with her clothes and parting with quite a bit of cash I decided that I liked what she stood for, how she operated and the ethos around her clothing style and quality. Via MySpace I sent her an email offering my help at shows and festivals as having been heavily involved in Sales when I was younger it was evident that I wasn’t shy speaking to new people! She gratefully accepted my offer and I have helped out at some of the larger shows as well as the regular haunts. I had no idea how much I would love it! I find that doing the exhibitions, helping out in other areas of the business (Websites, ideas for clothing, even the layout of the stalls) acts as an outlet, so to speak, my regular job as a Computer Developer doesn't tend to satisfy a creative side. Jed has been a good influence on me over the past year (we met in August 2007), both in expressing myself and in areas of life such as sustainable living and healthy food (although I will curse her forever for introducing me to Green ‘n Blacks organic cocoa made with Hazelnut and Almond Rice Milk! And don't forget the Eat Natural bars... costing me a fortune and I am hopelessly addicted!!). I have met some fantastic people through helping out and I get to be a part of the clothing and the brand (and get to flaunt myself around in them!) which pays back so much to me personally. All in all it’s a very pleasant experience; I give a little and get so much more back! I am proud to be a part of the team and help in the success of the company and the person behind it.
